On October 13th was the fourth day of our stay in Italy. We started the day moving by bus to La Morgia di Gessopalena, where we walked to a place with a history site of the Second World War called Sant’Agata. Once there, we were divided into three groups, where each had a guide that explained the things that occurred during that time. Once the explanation was finished, we continued to walk until we reached the road where the bus waited for us. Next, we moved to the village of Torricella Peligna where we ate the picnic that families prepared. In the afternoon, we went to the museum called Iuvanum Parco e Museo Archeologico. There they also explained different facts about the War and we could see the remains of a Roman town. Later, we went to the British Cemetery of Torino di Sangro, where we could see the tombs where the soldiers participating in this great battle were buried. To finish the day, we took the bus back to Montesilvano.
